Vision

Producing accomplished and resourceful Ulamas who devote their selves in da’wa activities for the glorification of Muslim community through the belief of Al-Quran Wa’s Sunnah.

Administration for the Sayeediyya is handled to Erukkalampiddy Jammiyyathul Ulama by the groups who lead the village under peaceful and excellent management. They are Puttalam Erukkalampiddy trusty board, Mannar Erukkalampiddy trusty board and Zakath committee.

Syllabus

v Presently a syllabus prepared by the Department of Muslim Religion & Cultural Affairs and the Federation of Arabic Colleges of Sri Lanka is followed in all Arabic Colleges of Sri Lanka for the long time. So it’s also been following at Sayeediyya Arabic College.

v Government Curriculum for General ordinary level.

v Government Curriculum for General Advance level.

v Government Curriculum for Bachelor of Arts.

v Information Technology.

Buildings

There are some Buildings in the college such as Sayeed masjid, study hall which scope is 30x20 feet, kitchen 20x20 and a small washing room. We need to increase Buildings.

Income

We must look for ways and means to get the regular income to be leaded with pleasure for a long time without breaking in middle.

Presently, our village is being gradually rehabilitated and it will take a long time to complete to be a city. That’s because no one can bring this college to high level alone, but if every one cooperate them to develope, Insha Allah it will make a good way for its future victories.

Now, we have arranged a small number of donors for mini charities and we politely request our Muslim brothers and sisters to help the college for the improvement

Daily Activities

Awaking for Thahajjud before half on hour from Subah.

05.30-06.30; Sharia studies after Subah and reciting

Mousoorath.

06.30-08.00; Break for morning duties.

08.00-12.00; continuing Sharia studies after holding
assembly.

12.00-02.30; Break for rest, lunch and Luhar.

02.30-04.15; Government school subjects.

04.15-05.45; Asar Prayer and Play.

05.45-10.15; Mousoorath, Magrib, Revision, Isha,
dinner

10.15-04.15; Sleeping.

Weakly Activities

v Spiritual class on Mondays after Magrib.

v Student movement on Thursdays after Isha.

v Motivation class on Saturdays after Magrib.

Monthly Activities

v Conducting examinations.

v Participating in Night Ibadha once a month.

v Following surplus fasting on the days of 13, 14, and 15.

v Arrangement the debate among students.

Yearly Activities

v Conducting two examinations in Ramazan and Rabeeul Akhir.

v Government examinations such as Al-Alim, Dharmachcharaya, GCE O/L, and GCE A/L.

v Education trip.

v Celebration of Meelad or Muharram.

v Special classes for the month of Ramazan.

v Sports Meets.

v Competition among students.

Needs of Sayeediyya

Ø Regular Income,

Ø We need immediately a property for that purpose.

Ø Buildings for class rooms, Student hostel, Library, Computer unit, Bath room, Conference hall, Reception hall or visitors’ room.

Ø Fence around the College.

Ø Small vehicle to carry the patient to the hospital and for other important requirements.
